The card shark is joining Sky Sports to give his wisdom and
thoughts on matches.

On Soccer Saturday, so he will be explaining decisions that no
one outside of the studio can see. That doesn't strike me as an
easy job.

BT Sport used to do this for their Score show with Howard
Webb/Graham Poll/Peter Walton down the years.
The Sky article mentions both Soccer Saturday and Premier League
coverage so I guess he'll be heard on some of their lie games
too.

TNT Sports (formally BT Sport) are not keeping Peter Walton for
this season apparently.
