Looks like bmb has been on the blower to Marriner and he has the
awful orange outfit on!

Considering Marriner is perma-tanned, orange isn't the best
colour for him
Surely must hit the sunbeds a few times a week

Astounding that that isn’t SFP. Shocking challenge.

Horrendous decision not to send Bruno off and even worse that
the VAR hasn’t recommended a review

Interesting to say the least that the Bruno challenge was not
considered a red card. If that is the litmus test for a yellow
then the game of football is in a worse state than I thought.

It was Marriner who failed to issue 2 red cards earlier in the
season when Leicester played Chelsea but couldn’t wait to send
off Casemiro for pulling ayew away from the melee by the neck.
So no surprise the challenge went unpunished.
He hasn’t been at his best this season which shows in his
appointments. If he stays on the list I hope he can find better
form next season

As other footage showed he only had hold of his shirt collar and
not his neck. It was also Marriner (on VAR duty) who couldn't
wait to recommend a RC for Casemiro against Southampton when the
on field referee was 10 yards away from the incident and gave an
initial YC. On that occasion Casemiro actually won the ball
(unlike last night's incident).

Viewing the Guimaraes challenge at full speed, there is simply
not enough force in the tackle for it to qualify as endangering
the opponent's safety IMO. Reckless at worst.
