P TIERNEY: LIV V TOT

A good performance as a whole, however a few debatable calls in
the last few minutes
Klopp should've been put off, however that's not Tierneys fault.
How Mason survived without a card I don't know. Poor officiating
from Brooks on the sideline.
Also, poor form from Tierney refusing a handshake from Klopp at
the end.

A bit of karma though as Klopp clearly tore his hamstring when
he ran to celebrate in front of John Brooks 😂

Bang average from Tierney.
Coote on another day could have rightly intervene 3 times.
Klopp was angry with Tierney after giving a foul against salah
for being held and trying to free himself

I bet John Brooks is privately enjoying Klipperty Klopp doing a
hammy after his frankly laughable celebration in front of him.
Both managers should have been binned I agree.

Typical behaviour from Klopp, very disappointed he didn’t see
red as he needs to be taught a lesson. Didn’t see the
non-handshake but who knows what was said previously
Rest of the match was a pretty standard Tierney match - some
good periods and some less so. I think Jota is lucky not to see
red for catching Skipp’s head with his studs, Skipp himself with
a fairly high boot on Diaz(?)’s ankle in the first half which
went missed/unpunished, and a rejected penalty towards the end
for pretty clear holding on Richarlison

Brooks is a bigger man than me for not reacting to that. When I
first saw it I thought he was running to the spurs bench but no,
he sprints to celebrate in front of an innocent official. And
then you have the sky sports numpties/pundits encouraging it
after. Imagine what message that sends out to young players and
officials.

I thought it was a poor performance from Tierney and Coote in
VAR.
Jota should have gone for his high boot on Skipp. Why Coote
didn’t come in and suggest a review was baffling.
Salah blown up for a foul against him when he was in fact
fouled.
Klopp was his usual abhorrent self towards the team of officials
which is inexcusable, however the performance on the field
really didn’t help matters either.

No they didn't, they said that he can't do that. Jamie Redknapp
in particular even referenced the fact that children and lower
level managers would copy it.

Only got back in time to watch the 2nd half so can't comment on
the first 45, but I have to say as a neutral I had every
sympathy with Spurs.
They hit the post twice within a minute when they were still 3-1
down.
Jota in my view was extremely lucky not to get a RC for the kick
to the head.
I groaned when I saw Richarlison fall to the ground in the
Liverpool area but realised on the replay there was much more in
it than I originally thought. If Tierney had awarded the
penalty, I'm sure VAR would not have intervened.
And then Moura gifts Liverpool the winner, scored inevitably by
the player Spurs felt should have been taking an early bath.
So every sympathy with Spurs; none at all for Klopp if he pulled
his hamstring. A touch of Karma indeed as rustyref said.

Another poor performance from PT and I wonder if he'll find
himself with more Championship games next season. Poor VAR from
Coote as well but this was unusual as I believe he's been the
best VAR official this season. Think Dermot is going to go into
defence tomorrow!!
