R MADLEY - WBA v Norwich

Looked a penalty when a WBA defender trod on the Norwich
attackers foot in the box. Anywhere else on the field that’s a
stone wall free kick. Madley was in a great position and decided
no foul.
Byram’s card was warranted after cleaning out the WBA attacker
out wide.
Not sure on the FK given to WBA either leading to their
equaliser.
Haven’t seen him on a TV game for ages.. not completely
disastrous but conversely definitely not perfect by any means
either.

I think Referees are being brainwashed by someone down south
that wearing yellow is bad!

R .Madley not giving stonewall penalty incident when he is there
looking at it ,then the free kick to wba should have gone to
Norwich

Excellent advantage was played for WBA's second goal.
He was about to blow for a FK then indicated advantage - good
refereeing and recognition of a genuine advantage.
Overall, IMO, a good unfussy performance and gave the 'expected'
FK's and cautions, thus maintaining control - unlike some other
championship referees this season.
I don't think it was a 'nailed on' penalty for Norwich and he
was in an excellent position to assess the challenge, which he
did immediately and deemed fair. Not much of an appeal from
Norwich players either.
