Happy with those appointments, but could be different come 5pm
on Saturday and 10pm on Wednesday!! 😊

Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing Ruebyn on Saturday. Never
heard of him before, let alone seen him!

Yeah I've heard of him before, like I said when he was 4th
official against Carlisle (H). The first time I had heard about
him was when he replaced one of the assistants in the Derby v
Torquay FA Cup match this season, shown on TV.

Not sure if the EFL appointments and the NL appointments are
done by the same people, but they clearly didn't communicate
when making the appointments. Either that, or they'll be cloning
him in time for Saturday

Never mind who does the appointments and how they communicate,
why does MOAS allow one person to be appointed to two games at
the same time? It seems a fairly basic piece of validation to
build in to the system. And I have just checked, he is still
listed as being on both games.

Looking at the EFL referee appointments on the official website,
Ruebyn Ricardo is doing the Crewe game.

Earlier this season he was double booked at Dartford and for
Southend's FA Cup game at Woking. As with this time, never in
doubt as to which would take precedence so not the biggest
problem - especially given the large number of late changes made
at National League level. Had seen him at Concord Rangers a few
weeks earlier and he was head and shoulders above any other up
and coming referees at that level. I was sitting next to the
assessor/observer who seemed pretty pleased with him too.

Oliver Mackey now taken over the Gloucester City v Chorley
fixture and Ruebyn as expected still on the Crewe fixture.
Ruebyn was one of the few 2Bs announced to be in the EDRP
(another post showed his name included), goes to show those
involved are clearly impressed with him given some fantastic
appointments for him this season

Which means that Oliver Mackey will need to be replaced at
Slough v Braintree.
