Felix Zwayer : Man Utd vs Sevilla

A good first half by the German officials , stamped his
authority early doors with a YC his only blemish was his poor
decision to book Fernandes for handball , he was to quick to
bring the card out had he given himself thinking time I doubt he
would have produced the Fernandes YC hopefully more of the same
in the second half
I think if no German team gets to the final then Zwayer is my
bet for it

Once he gives the free kick he has to caution as UEFA direct
their referees that any handling of a shot on goal must be a
caution. If that was in the Premier League it wouldn't be a
caution, and chances are not in the Bundesliga either.

I'm not even convinced it would be given as handball in the PL
let alone a YC. Blasted at speed from close range with the
player turning his back. Was it clear what part of the arm the
ball hit?

Thought he was excellent in the first half. Second half started
to fall for the Sevilla theatrics and became a bit more erratic
with fouls etc.
The ref in the West Ham game earlier was also good

Don't disagree, but watch any UEFA game where a free kick is
given for handling a shot at goal, it is always a caution, and
on several cases has been a second caution and a red card.
