That’s because they keep using the same 11-12 referees. Gone
backwards since Webb took over

Maybe not Newcastle, Manchester United or Spurs matches, as
they're in direct competition for the Champions League spots.
Could still be on the Man City vs Arsenal match later this
month, as both are in the title race. Neither are in a direct
battle with Newcastle, with an 11 point gap between City and
Newcastle

I really hope Michael Oliver gets the City vs Arsenal game

Michael Oliver did do Manchester United on Saturday and Brighton
the week before, so not sure we can read too much into the
Newcastle thing at this stage.
I think there's a better mix of appointments this season but I'd
probably agree with the above post that things have gone
backwards a little since Christmas time, with some referees
having very few PL appointments. Of course you want
accountability so if the performance level from some really
hasn't been good enough then fair enough but it doesn't
especially seem like that's been the consensus of opinion.

Very good game for John Brooks, a little surprised by the
appointment but fully deserved, i look forward to seeing his
performance on saturday.
I wouldnt read too much to Salisbury being in the championship,
he has done quite a few games this season in that league.
Gillett in the championship again, good game for Jones too.
Kavanagh and Attwell having an on field week off, rotation no
doubt.
Quite a good set of appointments overall.

Not sure how much you can read into Salisbury (and Kavanagh) not
being directly involved in this week's matches. The BBC headline
about Salisbury being dropped could be misleading in that he was
never scheduled to have a match anyway. Have PGMOL confirmed
anywhere about anyone being dropped?
Maybe BBC should concentrate on why Marriner hasn't got a
fixture again for the umpteenth week, or maybe speculate instead
on (for example) Peter Bankes not being included because maybe
he was crap two weeks ago?
Fulham with Taylor isn't too bad, he wasn't great last time by
his standards but I'd rather have him that most.

According to today's Times, "PGMOL is expected to drop Stuart
Attwell and Michael Salisbury from match duties this weekend
after apologising to Brighton & Hove Albion for the third time
this season for a mistake by officials".
For 'mistake' perhaps read 'mistakes', and it seems this has
been followed through with these appointments.

Fun (worrying) fact: Thomas Bramall hasn't had a PL game since
January 21st (LEI V BHA). His main AR1, Derek Eaton, hasn't had
one either since then. Steve Meredith has only had 2 PL games
since then, both alongside Andy Madley.

Salisbury not in the good books so in championship I don’t think
he will get another Orem game after his horror show as var
Bramell also in championship hope he gets another prem game soon
Robinson poss for promotion next season

Sailsbury will be back. Look at Brooks, he's now at the best
place he's ever been at after his recovery. I'd be shocked if
Robinson isn't promoted. I do hope Bramall is back soon, the
only thing is there's no dead rubber games this season
