One cannot help but admire and be impressed with the way Oliver
just seems to sail through matches and enhances the game as a
spectacle , first class again today by Oliver and his team

Totally agree. And then the flip side as we had to watch Attwell
tonight. Sublime to the ridiculous .

There was a challenge late on by Garner on wan bissaka that
looked like a late challenge on first viewing, but on the replay
is a horrible nasty challenge, which should have received a red
card. Exactly the same as casemiro’s tackle against Southampton

ajb95, if it's the incident I'm thinking of, a YC yes, but I
think a RC would have been harsh. The strange thing was that I
don't recall United making much of it; something they are not
usually reticent about. Players reaction does sometimes give a
clue, although not always to be taken as reliable of course.
McTominay could easily have got a YC in the earlier minor fracas
but Oliver contented himself with a lecture to both players.
Overall, the players conducted themselves well. No crowding of
the referee, whether that was out of a genuine respect for
Oliver and his decisions or simply to the credit of the players
themselves.
Have to say that as a United supporter I'm relieved that the YC
count has diminished these last few games. I hope it remains so
when Casemiro returns.
