Referee Statistics

Hi everyone,
Was going to do this between xmas and new year but work got in
the way.
Just like to share some stats for PL refs so far this season (if
I have time, I may do some other leagues too!)
**UP TO 13/01/2019 and includes only Premier League games

I’m surprised Grandad is second in the average card stakes. Most
of them have probably been brandished at AFCB! hehe.

Interesting stats. Thank you.
Surprised that Scott has only 7 PL matches since his last season
was pretty good, IIRC.

Scott has been out injured for a couple of months this season
and upon his return was in the EFL for a while to regain fitness
hence his lack of PL middles

It is a surprise, considerig he hasn’t had many premier league
games this season.

There were 103 penalties awarded this season the most since
2006-07 and 47 reds. The total number of cards shown was 1301
(1254 yellows and 47 reds) at an average of 3.42

place....Hooper only doing 8 games since promotion to SG1... not
a good sign.

It would be a much worse sign if he'd done lots. It would mean
the powers that be are not able to recognise their mistakes!

103 penalties? 23 of them were apparently awarded to Man Utd and
Crystal Palace, with Milivojevic scoring 10 out of the 11
awarded to the Palace, a perhaps unsurprising number in view of
Zaha's influence.
