If this isn't allowed then I am happy for this to be removed.
A group of SG2 referees are doing the three peaks challenge in
June to raise awareness of Leukemia care in respect of a former
referee who is now a coach sadly suffering from that condition.
Good luck to all concerned and thoughts and best wishes to Gary
Willard.

I have met Gary on a few occassions. I am saddened to hear the
news.

One of the few Sussex officials to hit the top flight and of
course FIFA.
Respect to Mr Willard from Worthing and I hope the three peak
challenge is a roaring success.

I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Gary Willard a few times. He is
great. I am from Sussex as well. He is a fountain of knowledge.

Met Gary many times and he is such a beautiful person. bmb jr
always used to call him the teddy bear man and would run to him
for hugs when he saw him. Since AFCB's rise in the leagues we
don't see him at Dean Court anymore sadly but when we did he
would always set bmb jr little tasks like learn & understand Law
11 before the next time he saw him or give him clips to watch to
evaluate the decisions and things like that - always encouraging
him with refereeing. He'd always follow up on the tasks as well.
Amazing hugs - hence the teddy bear man nickname! Much love with
Gary - keep fighting.
