Italy getting away with murder so far. Also just after half time
as England were on the break, 2 clear YCs should've been pulled
up after an attempted advantage. Not convinced by him.

Very good advantage but overall seems to be favouring the home
team.

Not convinced by him if he was going to send him off could have
done it to avoid everything that went on or he bottled it under
pressure from Italy

Not impressed at all with Jovanovic. Looks totally lost and a
lack of control. I’m not surprised tempers have flared.
However, he has carded any time wasting fairly briskly.

Very very poor. How he’s elite is beyond me. Fell for all that
Italian pressure. I said to my nephew and a work mate on
WhatsApp after Rices yellow he’ll send an England player off.
Will UEFA take action against Italy for surrounding the referee?
I won’t hold my breath

Rather unconvincing and has a sense of unpredictability about
him, which is rarely a good attribute. Thought the second yellow
to Shaw was clumsily managed at best…very indecisive and waiting
so long gives the impression of bowing to Italy pressure.

Very harsh on potential time wasting, but missed blatant
cautions for SPA and reckless challenges. He initially had
absolutely no intention of sending off Shaw, why did he wait the
best part of two minutes before pulling out the yellow and red?
Perhaps he was getting advice from colleagues, but it looked as
though he had just bowed to pressure from Italian players.
