Ally MCCoist with waffle for once. Clearly doesn't understand
LOTG. That is a handball based on the current bar that's been
set. Hand was out. Good VAR intervention by Tierney. RC would be
harsh, YC fair enough. Handball can be accidental Ally!
Satisfactory 1st half performance for Robinson. No major issues,
he's very willing to let the game flow which is contributing to
what has been a great game thus far. Only thing that's bothered
me was a missed advantage while Sheffield United were on the
break.

Given the game. It’s 100mph. I think he has done well first
half. Most if honest did not spot the handball in real time.
Good use of var and the correct decision. I agree the old
hindsight for an advantage. I also believe the non second yellow
was correct. Probably the hardest of all the quarter finals to
referee. A great cup tie. Hope the second half goes well

I dont think it has been a "hard" game to referee as it has been
end to end, cut and thrust but in the main the players have
wanted to get on with it.
Given the YC awarded in the 2nd half I still believe the SU
player was lucky.
Been a very good cup tie

Even the player who had the shot didn't appeal for the handball,
which tells you how difficult it would have been to spot in real
time - certainly don't think anyone can blame TR whatsoever for
not giving it himself.
Seen plenty of tackles worse than Jack Robinson's second not
punished with a caution - wouldn't be cautioning there myself
either.

Cup tie of the season along with the Wrexham Sheffield United
1st game. Robinson did well, with Webb in attendance. He
certainly wouldn't look out of place in SG1.

I think it’s a clear yellow card all day long and would be
expected in the premier league!

Is a YC in a handball leading to a penalty in an incident like
Jack Robinson’s this game currently mandatory or did Mr Robinson
have some discretion?

Only saw the 2nd half, didn't even notice who the ref was until
injury time. Can't pay him a bigger compliment than that based
on what I watched.
