Perhaps not, but then I guess you could ask how many games
really 'need' him - did Everton V Villa or Brentford V Fulham
need him?
Taylor's clearly one of the best PL referees so he's going to be
used a fair amount and it's a game between one of the top 3 and
bottom 3 in mid March so there's a fair amount riding on it.

As far as we know, is Mike Dean still around as a dedicated VAR?
Haven't seen his name on the appointments for a little while.

He is still active as far as we know. He hasn't had an
appointment since the Mason/ Brooks debacle

Can someone (everyone) please explain the hatred of the yellow
shirts? Personally, I'd rather hate Fulham's mint green away
strip which has seen us lose both games when it's been utilised!

I hate yellow shirts, well I hate yellow everything actually but
specifically yellow referee shirts. It's been a standing joke on
here brought over from the old forum. Turns out I'm not the only
one who hates them! That's however where it all stems from.

Dont teams have to wear their second and third kits for a
minimum set of games for some bizarre contractual obligation?

I think so and we wore ours at the start of the season and I
hope I don't have to see it again the rest of the season it is
hideous but won't clash with any refs colours
