Craig Pawson - Leicester vs Arsenal

Good performance from Craig and his team, Pawson is having a
very good season in my opinion and whilst he obviously won’t get
the FA Cup final, I do wonder if the play off final may come his
way this time around.
Only questionable moments came within a 5 minute spell in the
first half. Trossard goal rules out for a foul by White on Ward
- for me this was an excellent use of VAR so credit to Mr
Salisbury. No chance Pawson could have seen this, but White
clearly held Ward down by his hand - could argue soft but a foul
nonetheless.
Potential penalty for a foul by Souttar on Saka a short time
later - for me this was a penalty and I’m not sure why this
wasn’t given. Souttar did appear to trip prior to the incident,
but then clearly hauled Saka to the ground and it should have
been a penalty.

Having been at the game, there was a lot of gamesmanship from
Arsenal. The rolling around and feigning was excessive but that
wasn’t really Pawson’s fault. Otherwise a good performance. My
team were pathetically bad.
