More yellow! Blue available and black if City had worn yellow or
blue. This Ref was good last year in the QF that Liverpool were
in so hopefully another good performance incoming.
The game has been dirt so far. Nothing for the Dutchman to do.

Very impressed with this referee tonight , I think what he has
had to do he has done quietly , let the game flow and stayed in
the background , kept his cards in his pocket and displayed good
fitness

Completely agree. The perfect game for him, and did what would
be expected of any good ref. Dutch reffing is in a good place
with Makkelie, Gözübüyük being established as reliable Elite
options. Van Boekel is in the UEFA top echelon of VAR, while
tonight's VAR Higler had a good showing I believe on pitch last
week in the EL as a last minute stand in.

Strange one at the end, looks like it should have been a penalty
for City for handball from the final corner. Didnt seem to be
any indication that it was checked by VAR but we can only assume
it was.
Certainly had his arms in an unnatural position and moved them
towards the ball.
