Happy enough with Whitestone for us,although would prefer him at
the SoL!
Also pleased to see Barrott back in the Championship - surely he
will be a permanent SG2 fixture next season!

David Webb was pretty good for 99% of the game but got the
biggest decision of the match wrong. He let Roberts of
Birmingham get away with a terrible tackle on Luton goal scorer
Carlton Morris. He gave him a yellow card which was a travesty.

I totally agree, a very poor decision not to issue a red card.
It may be my imagination but David seems to be jinxed at the
moment, a good SG2 referee who is being let down by some awful
decisions.

Totally agree it should’ve been a red but watching the
highlights show last night it was clear Webb had his view
obscured by a Birmingham player. That obviously doesn’t help
when judging the severity of the challenge.

Saw enough of it to give it a yellow however. Was it just
guesswork?
For what it’s worth, the Birmingham manager John Eustace called
it an excellent tackle.

Its one of those when you know its bad, without seeing it all
and go YC.
Ironically, say you have not seen it due to player in your
vision and it could then be looked at after (from a game
management perspective that is never going to happen)
A good example of where VAR would be useful 😉
