Probably not the wisest appointment for Attwell to be 4th
Official at Leicester, considering he refereed them on Sunday at
Old Trafford, surely there’s somebody else that couldn’t have
done the board duties to prevent any chance of having the same
       team twice in a week!

It was delightful. Not the best weather, except on Sunday when
sitting in the sunshine up near Beachy Head looking out to sea
was quite lovely and then followed by a very good lunch at the
Tiger Inn, East Dean. A visit to Charleston was exceptionally
interesting, what a racy lot they were, with some wonderful art
work on display as indeed there was at the Towner gallery where
we particularly enjoyed the Ravilious collection.
As with many town centres, parts of it looked sadly a little
down at heel, sad to see Debenhams and T J Hughes empty and a
bit forlorn but Meads and Old Town were charming. Excellent
fish and chips at the Beach Deck.

Huge gane at bottom for Bankes. Let’s hope he brings his A game.
Attwell continues his run of good quality top clashes
       [/quote]
Hope Bankes doesnt pull up injured or fall ill next saturday for
       both Leeds and Southampton sake.
Happy with Anthony Taylor on our game at Everton.
Agree looks a safe set of appointments, just a few interesting
       fourth official appointments.
Think there might be a tinge of Yellow this week in Dorset.

It's quite possible you've jinxed Bankes. Although he made it
through the full 90 mins, he did give Simpson a note in the 2nd
half and seemed to rub and stretch his leg quite a few times
throughout the rest of the game.

There must have been some people very worried at the thought of
Simpson having to take over. Glad for all incl Bankes that he
       came through the full match.

Not half! Leeds fans have very long memories and I think the
ground would have erupted if Simpson had come on!
