       M OLIVER - Tottenham v West Ham

Thoughts on the non penalty call against Kehrer?
I have to say it looks deliberate to me as he slightly extends
his fingers when the ball is heading to Kane..
Oliver waved it away and Coote on VAR didn’t deem it necessary
for hauling Oliver to the screen of doom.

I have no idea and that's the problem, that type of incident in
many many games has resulted in a penalty.

Looked like a clear pen. Poor mistake from Oliver who was
       otherwise excellent.

Under the laws he was correct according to the PGMOL at
half-time to Sky Sports as the West Ham was falling and the
distance between his hand and the ground.. Complicated rule

He wasn't falling though, nor did he fall - he stumbled and
       spread his fingers out wide.

Missed it first time live. First playback I thought penalty.
Watched it a second time and doubts crept in. Whether he
stumbled or was in the act of falling, it didn't strike me as
intentional. The ball was close to him; why not do the obvious
thing and kick the ball? I'm sure if Michael Oliver had awarded
the penalty VAR would not have intervened. As to whether it was
a clear and obvious error, I'm less certain.

It's an obvious penalty to me (same as Soucek the week before).
The player is not sliding in at full speed to block a shot /
cross, which is what I believe this "bracing for a fall"
explanation is about. Neither was Soucek.
If you've watched or played the game you know when someone is
making a genuine attempt to block a shot or cross and it hits an
arm accidentally. That's not the case with this incident or the
Soucek one, they're both clear penalties, and it's astonishing
       that neither were given.

He gave at least 2 unintentional looking hand balls against
       attackers earlier in the match

Why has nobody mentioned that the only reason he was
falling/stumbling is that Richarlison pushed him first so free
kick to West Ham? Just the same as when a player goes to head a
ball and gets a nudge/push in the back which is always given as
a defensive freekick if the push is spotted by the referee.
