Wolves v AFCB - Michael Salisbury

Wore blue so started out in bmb's good books. Thank you Michael!
Barely noticed him to be perfectly honest. Was fairly lenient
and let quite a bit go but I felt consistently for both teams &
both responded by leaving out any silly behaviour and getting on
with playing ball. Only thing I can really think off was Steven
Meredith gave a throw in AFCB's way 23rd min that should have
been a Wolves throw, replays showed it came off JZ. He took an
age to make the decision as well - I think the Wolves player
(Adema? #37) was blocking his view & it would have been on his
       blindside.
That is honestly the only thing that springs to mind although I
accept I may inadvertently have rose tints on because my team
actually did one of those what do you call them now - wins,
that's it! Successfully defended 12 corners as well. The shock
       is real...
I felt he & his team contributed positively to the game, along
with 22 players who worked hard without unnecessary shenanigans.

As far as I am aware assistant ants are always taught, if your
not sure keep the flag down and let the referee make the
       decision.

He kept his flag down & no decision was forthcoming from the ref
who was not in a position to have been able to see whether it
was JZ or the Wolves player who touched it last - too many
players obscuring his view. One of them really where there is
nothing they could have done differently to get it right &
overall a minor wrong call. The throw in led to AFCB almost
immediately giving the ball away, it was in the centre third of
the pitch & in all honesty if that is all they got wrong between
them then it's a brilliant day at the office.

Quietly becoming a steady pair of hands IMO, reminds me of a
certain Mr Marriner in the way he is so relaxed.
