No you weren't wrong. However why didn't the VAR spot it given
that he was quite happy to send off Casemiro for exactly the
same thing?
Presumably an incoming charge from the FA for both teams for
failing to control their players.

Thank you for confirming. For once my eyes didn't deceive me.
Yes, ironic it was Andre Marriner as the replacement VAR who
took no action last night but who took a different approach with
Casemiro as Referee having viewed the monitor.

Same thing an Everton player was booked for a few minutes
earlier kicking the ball away

I thought he had a very good game and I think he has got better
and better.
(Not too impressed with the behaviour of Robertson)

The BBC reports "Liverpool and Everton have both been charged by
the Football Association following a "mass confrontation" during
Monday night's Merseyside derby." At least action has been taken
but what effect it will have on player behaviour I do not know -
if any.
