Add Darren Bond with the Burnley v PNE derby. Ok, PNE don't seem
to be going anywhere, but the Lancashire derbies are always
keenly anticipated and particularly this season with Burnley
surely heading onwards and upwards.

Not really, no.
While Birmingham v WBA is indeed a local derby, it doesn't quite
get the juices flowing around those parts as any of Birmingham v
A.Villa, WBA v Wolves or WBA or A.Villa would.

Thanks, my mistake. Neil said previously that his wife wanted
him to finally retire from football management. I wonder what
she thinks of this new appointment. Maybe Neil is taking her out
somewhere special for Valentines Day to try and win her over.
Me? I'm going to offer to take Mrs AT to Crewe v Rochdale on
Saturday week, but of course I won't know until tomorrow whether
she thinks this is her ideal Valentine's gift! [emoji16]

My step dad's wife moaned at him for years about retiring. When
he finally gave into her, within the week she was on the phone
to me begging me to take him out for a game of golf & to please
be all day, the woman never spoke to me in however many years it
was until he retired and then all of a sudden every day, please
do something, get him out of my house, he's in my way, he's
driving me crazy etc! Turned out having him under her feet all
day wasn't as sweet as she had dreamed it would be!!! Maybe Mrs
Warnock feels the same way...
