Could it be that Michael Oliver isnt involved in the top 4
clashes due to Newcastle being there?

Marriner and the M23 derby, yes I was thinking the same! Michael
Oliver is a sensible appointment for the Palace v Brighton game.
The Palace fans don't like seeing Brighton heading up the PL
table and home points are needed at Selhurst Park to help dispel
any thoughts of the drop. There is also acrimony still arising
from the bizarre postponement of the reverse fixture at Brighton
in September due to a rail strike. I wish Michael and his team
well.

If Newcastle remain in the top 4 nearer to the end of the
season, he wont be involved, he will probably get more of the
drop battles for a change.
At this stage of the season would think its too early for Mr
Oliver not to be involved in top half dozen games.

I'd imagine we will play in White/Green on Saturday as it will
be easier than dark blue/gold so that opens up Blue or BMB's
favourite for Attwell ;)

Yeah, why can't they swap games?! Slightly disappointed to see
Madley (at least it isn't his brother I guess). Considering our
top-half position we don't seem to get enough top-half referees,
although it's extremely subjective who those individuals are
with the probably exception of Oliver, Taylor and perhaps
Gillett.

Why do Arsenal keep getting Machester referee Taylor for matches
involving Manchester clubs? This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks. The
FA/EPL should spend as much time looking into PGMOL as they do
investigating historic club misdemeanors!

Because he isn't from Manchester and doesn't support either
Manchester team. Perhaps you should spend as much time looking
into actual facts as you do spouting nonsense then posts like
this wouldn't be made.
