Madley for us again…. Third appointment this season.
Hooper with the stand out game and Marriner at AFCB on the
boards will please bmb ( although there is a real threat of
yellow coming out for that match!)

Andy Madley also did Forest on the 21st January. Why couldn’t
Oliver and Madley swap games. Bankes also did Brentford that
weekend.

Michael Oliver has refereed Nottingham Forest more recently than
Andy Madley (the League Cup SF V Man Utd) so that wouldn't have
helped if that was your issue.

I think that fact that a lot of teams are playing each other
multiple times in a very short space of time is making it
difficult to spread out appointments. Most teams have had every
referee recently.

I certainly think Hooper is a strong contender but not sure he
can be described as a shoe-in. Liverpool aren't having an
especially good season of course, although it's clearly still a
high profile game. And Andy Madley did Spurs V Man City
yesterday which was also a big game. I think Madley is also
possible but again don't think he could be described as a shoe
in.
They're pretty brave to put David Coote as FO on a Merseyside
derby at Anfield following the Van Djik/Pickford incident.

I think Hooper will get the final, but the Madley trio from the
Spurs game was the back up plan, particularly with Madley and
Lennard paired up again at Fulham.

Which is particularly annoying as I’m going to the Brighton v
Fulham game at the AMEX a week on Saturday.
Was hoping for Oliver to get that match as a compensation for
missing the Brighton v AFCB match, but that’s gone down the
proverbial chute!

Great to see Mr Kavanagh back again, hope all is well for him
now, a couple of games in the championship will get him match
fit again after a long lay off.
Someone in high places is favouring the bmb household this
coming weekend.
Thought Mr Oliver would have got the Arsenal v Manchester City
game after Mr Taylor being at the world club cup and then
travelling back.
Happy to see Mr Jones on our game at the Etihad.
The trio on the Merseyside derby may have an important fixture
towards the end of February.
A good appointment for Mr Hooper, the merseyside derby, deserved
on form.
Big game for Mr Marriner in the championship mid next week.

Dark blue or third kit is white.
Definitely yellow needed for team Attwell!

Not if Mr Attwell knows what is good for him!

UEFA competitions return next midweek so potentially Oliver
might have a Champions/Europa League appointment.
