Kick off delayed until 8.15pm.
District, Circle and Hammersmith lines suspended. 🙄
That is NOT good for a London derby contest as I’m sure my
fellow Fulham contributors will be aware!

And severe delays on the Elizabeth, Jubilee, and Metropolitan
lines. Carnage out there tonight, not sure 15 minutes is going
to make a huge amount of difference for people getting there.

South West trains from Waterloo to Putney would be the easiest
option.
I bet that’s gonna be a cosy ride this evening!
On a separate point.. TFL and in particular the Underground have
been fraught with delays recently. Very poor.
Edit.. a friend who works for TFL has said it’s a complete
failure of the VCC ((Vehicle Control Centre) at Hammersmith.

Point being it was a terrible tackle. Imo VAR should've had a
more detailed look.

There will be a lot of repeat discussions unless the realisation
drops that VAR isn't there to re-referee the game. VAR will not
get involved in this kind of thing under Howard Webb, it has to
be a total and utter clanger by the officials and this was
nowhere near that bar. We will see very, very few VAR referrals
for penalties and SFP, the on field decision will be left alone
the vast majority of times.
Was it a red card offence by Son? Possibly, but it was nowhere
near a clear and obvious error by the on pitch officials.

I think Rustyref has summed it up pretty well and I'm fairly
comfortable with this as long as there is consistency across the
board.
Fulham fans on social media were generally unhappy it seems with
Tierney's performance but for me there were only a few things
that were wrong/might have been done differently:
1. The yellow card for Son, again another 'orange' card for me,
not a bad decision in real time, but looked worse slow motion.
Had VAR asked Tierney to review, probably a red card
2. The lack of a second yellow for Palhinha, he was certainly
fortunate to escape one, despite Kane's best efforts. At the
drop ball, looked like a foul by Hojbjerg on Palhihna and not as
was given the other way?
3. The lack of a yellow card for Dier, who more than passed the
threshold for PI
4. The award of a GK, when it was a clear corner to Fulham
I don't have any complaints about Tierney overall (edit...my
usual gripe...not enough stoppage time again.....the first 2
minutes of the 6 minutes were lost but not added back), it was
Tottenham who parked the bus for most of the match and caught
Fulham with a sucker punch and Fulham who lacked a cutting edge
and ideas to break Spurs down.

Whilst i agree with your comments, has anyone had the chance to
see the disallowed goal of southampton for the push, var
referral, in the game against villa thoughts on that please?
I realise that we only get the visual replays and dont get the
conversation between the referee and var and the on field
referee may have said he didnt see the incident,but as a villa
fan i think that was soft. Was this re refereering the game?
Sorry to mix topics but thought it was relevant with reference
to re refereeing the game.

I think it was a foul but probably shouldn't have led to a VAR
intervention. However, if Salisbury said he had seen nothing
then I understand it. If he saw it, thats just re-reffing the
game.
