John Busby ….. does he know the laws ????

Jesus where to start watch this clip from fifty seconds
deliberate back pass picked up stop on coming player from
potential goal scoring opportunity
QPR v Swansea
HTML https://youtu.be/nMvw3QkjXSs
A red card must be administered and justice served John Busby
????? Nothing other than indirect free kick.
A referee on SG2 must know the laws this is embarrassing for
English football a few week rest and no appointments now in
Order for Busby

I’d think someone with a handle name like “observer8” would know
the law. A Goalkeeper cannot be sent off for handball in their
own penalty area. Busby has given the correct decision and
sanction here

Interesting that the goalie certainly denied the on-rushing
forward a goal scoring opportunity by picking up the ball, but
he was within his penalty area, hence an indirect free kick
rather than a direct free kick and red card had the offence had
taken place outside the area. In the circumstances, I must agree
with ajb95 and disagree with you observeref8.

Oh dear. If you are going to criticise a refereeing decision
you really need to know the laws. Only one person should be
embarrassed, and it isn't the referee. From law 12 ...
The goalkeeper has the same restrictions on handling the ball as
any other player outside the penalty area. If the goalkeeper
handles the ball inside their penalty area when not permitted to
do so, an indirect free kick is awarded but there is no
disciplinary sanction.

I’d suggest you learn the Laws of the Game yourself before
coming on here slating someone. Really hope you aren’t an
observer!

Correct decision no booking for back passes, I was at a premier

Someone comes on here and makes themselves look a fool because
in fact it is them and not the referee who does not know the
laws but they do not have the grace to come back and apologise
and admit they are wrong

If this was Gillet no doubt you’d be saying what an amazing
decision it was, I’d suggest busby does in fact know the laws
and the only embarrassing thing here is this post.
