Missing Referees List [All Seasons]

a list of the matches we are missing referees for from the first
3 seasons of the 70's. a pattern forms in the fact that stoke,
leicester, southampton, nottm forest and huddersfield, seem to
have had very little media coverage hence several missing
referees.
ill have a look again at the likes of the london clubs matches
as well as everton and newcastle, as we should be able to get
the info for those matches.
a seller on ebay bobfrankandelvis, has the majority of these
programmes for sale, im tempted to mail him and ask him if i
offer him a fee will he get the referee information for me :)
to put into perspective, for 3 seasons, there were 1386 matches,
therefore 1386 referees, we are short by 59 for the 3 seasons,
which means we have found over 1300+ referees. pretty good going
id say

Thanks mande70 and well done. I wish I could add some refs
names, particularly the Palace home games, for example I would
almost certainly have been at the Palace v Southampton game on
Boxing Day 1972 which we won 3-0 (a rare win in our relegation
year) but I'm afraid my memory eludes me after 45+ years. I wish
you well and support your idea of trying to find out some names
via ebay. Looking forward to seeing developments, cheers

Norwich v Newcastle 24th Feb 73 Malcolm Sinclair one of the
linos was Mr Driver from Ipswich presumably doing his best to
ensure the inevitable away win (0-1)

I'm glad we got this one. Roy is no longer with us but I had the
pleasure of meeting him regularly after he moved south in 1975,
and a nicer guy you could not wish to meet. RIP.
Co-incidentally, 46+ years later, the same two teams meet again
this evening, again in the big league. Hopefully the result will
be different, with the wonderful Don Rogers scoring Palace's
only goal in a 1-2 defeat at Filbert Street.
