AFCB v Nottingham Forest: Andy Madley

Not perfect but certainly excellent.
NFFC - disallowed goal. Love VAR today!! Seriously though easy
call for offside, it certainly wasn't an extremely close one.
Harry Lennard had flagged for it.
AFCB - disallowed goal. Technically it wasn't disallowed because
the whistle for the foul had gone before the ball entered the
goal. Correct decision either way. Lerma can put on all of the
innocent faces he wants - it was a foul & the ref was right!
Picked up on a foul throw - rare to see that
NFFC - pen shout on 80, correct no pen. To be fair to NF it was
a muted may as well try for the call appeal as opposed to a
serious appeal
On the negative side (plus if you're an AFCB fan!). One of our
players caught one of theirs in the face, not intentional but
reckless none the less and I thought he was lucky not to get a
yellow card. Keifer Moore lucky not to get a yellow for a
blatant pull back.

NFFC made sure it was there 10 times over! Even so brownie
points earned by team ref wearing the blue/green kit!

Didn't see the flag, but it must have been clear judging from
the speed of the VAR decision.
Thought Madley had a very good game, personally.

The one where Willy Boly was offside? Andy Madley clearly makes
the VAR signal when disallowing the goal

Yep. He did flag - I was about 3 feet behind him at the time.

I have been told that yes he did flag but it wasn't actually
until after the VAR decision so I am right that he did flag but
it was confirmation of the VAR decision as opposed to before it!
I knew I'd seen his flag go up though!!

That’s very odd, never seen that before. Poor miss really with
the offside it was pretty clear. His position was too static. He
often makes errors like this Harry Lennard. I am surprised he is
FIFA over Dan Robathan
