No surprise to see Oliver in Liverpool - Chelsea and likewise
with Taylor given Arsenal - Man U, he is off to the club World
Cup which starts 1st Feb so perhaps the last we’ll see of him
until Mid Feb?
Weekend out of the middle for Hooper which is no surprise as he
has Man City - Spurs on Thursday.
Interesting that Oliver will also be on VAR in Fulham - Spurs,
and Attwell given a huge game at the London Stadium after the
weekends controversy - must have been assessed they committed no
serious error with the decision.
I’m liking the steady but continuous appointments for the likes
of Brammall and Salisbury.
Another game for Pawson after what was imo a good NLD
performance - he seems back in favour after a slightly strange
season (appointment wise) following the Community Shield up
until the World Cup

No surprise to see Taylor at the emirates. Is that his first
United v Arsenal game, must be his first at the emirates. Oliver
& Tierney with the other big games at anfield at the cottage.
Huge game at West Ham for Attwell who seems to be the go to
referee at the moment. Must say I’m surprised given the
controversy from Saturday
EDIT: No games again for Kavanagh/Harrington for previously
suggested reasons but nothing again for Marriner and Scott. End
of the road for them at the end of the season??
Not surprised to see Anthony Taylor at the Emirates, Michael
Oliver at Liverpool too.
After those two it is a bit pot luck, think Craig Pawson is
still next go to and Paul Tierney seems to get good appointments
after coming off the eufa list.
It has been good to see appointments to big games shared out
more evenly.
If Newcastle remain in the title mix then that may rule out
Michael Oliver from refereeing the games at the top nearer to
the end of the season, so new blood will be required.
Happy to see Michael Sailsbury on the Villa game at Soton.
Best wishes to Harrington and Kavanagh and hope they are able to
return soon.

Good appointments again. England seems to be out of favour with
a lot of 40 instead of VAR appointments recently. Jarred Gillett
in the championship. Taylor returns with a huge game. Nothing
for Kavanagh/ Harrington again.
England has refereed Man Utd and Liverpool over the last two
weeks, and has two VAR appointments coming up in the next week,
including Man City V Spurs.
And I guess he might well be FO to likes Oliver in CL at some
point so using him in this role sometimes for a game like
Liverpool V Chelsea seems reasonable enough.

What's happened to Harrington - no appointments since the World
Cup as Ref, 4th Official or VAR. Has he retired?
Likewise Kavanagh - except he's reffing a Championship game last
week, but nothing next week...

That's incorrect. Michael Sailsbury took charge of the game.
