This is what really annoys me with VAR & VAR protocol. A wrong
decision, key match error, was made on the pitch but VAR
remit/protocol/guidelines do not allow for that decision to be
corrected. What exactly is the purpose of VAR because obviously
it's not to help stop wrong penalties being awarded! It baffles
me that IFAB/FIFA think that is an acceptable state of affairs

enough there for VAR to overturn it. Its pretty soft at best.

intial hold by Toney. But then, every single VAR/penalty
decision or potential decision has gone against AFCB this
season, and this one was never going to be any different.

Just wondering why this was edited.
The word I used was not aimed at a referee, and I would never
do that.
