La Liga refs - boots

Has anyone else noticed that since the beginning of this season
all referees in La Liga wear the same boots? I don't even the
what brand they are, just plain black with a white cross and a
bit of yellow at the heel counter. Interesting from RFEF

This is fairly standard practice across competitions - if the
federation or referee organisation has a contract with a
supplier who provides boots to the referees then they will be
expected to wear them. The majority of Serie A referees wear
Legea boots as it's part of the supplied kit, similarly the
'default' boots supplied to EFL/EPL referees at the professional
level are Nike as per the kit contract. That said, there is
always an exception to the rule, and it appears that universally
Adidas are somewhat exempt from these boot contracts as they are
the highest level supplier with FIFA.
Incidentally, the spanish referees appear to be wearing a brand
called 'munich', who look to be a subsidiary of Macron based on
a quick dig.
