I know he has come in for some stick on here (and quite rightly
so) but Matt Carley was excellent last night on Irish vs
Saracens.
Got all the big decisions right, did not take any refereeing
advice from Farrell and Co., was consistent in most of his
decisions. Was the perfect man for the job.
As with majority of English referees was very clear with his
explanations/reasons

A few touch judge appointments there for Peter Allan - is that
the same Peter Allan who was an international referee for
Scotland in the early 2010s? If so, he must be at a decent age
now, and how did he end up as a touch judge in England?

I believe so, he moved south a number of years ago. Has been on
our ARs list for quite some time.

I think I got one of the appointments wrong Gallagher
premiership rugby got the tuesday official as Ridley and not
Dickson so apologies but rcg corrected me so thanks rcg
