Pawson again for Bournemouth. Maybe he might make positive
decisions this time rather that wait for VAR to ref game for
him.

Well done to Tony Harrington and team for staying awake through
that game - thought he did well and looks comfortable at this
level now.

Proved wrong. Pawson did wait for someone else to referee the
game for him..again.

I like Pawson as a referee. But in some ways I agree with you
(disagree with the wording) but sometimes you feel he is too
afraid to make a big call. That’s what puts him not quite at the
level of Taylor and Oliver and is what holds him back.

The handball would have been mainly on his blindside and I'd
imagine Jeff was obscuring his view. It took a couple of
different camera angles to show Jeff had moved his arm from
behind his back, towards the ball and give it a little flick, no
way for Pawson to see it in real time, imo.

Unless Pawson had X ray vision he couldn’t have possibly seen
the handball from his angle.
VAR had to come in to send him to the screen.
We can’t really apportion any blame to Pawson for that.

In this case yes it was impossible for Pawson to see. AR2 would
have had the most chance.
