Very well officiated game tonight.
Got all KMI's correct and his cautions were spot on with no
arguments.

It is good to know he can referee in the second division in this
country at least!
Glad to hear some positive reviews of Kavanagh's performance. I
thought he started off in PL very well but has perhaps not quite
fully progressed in the last few seasons. He's had a delayed
start to this season but hopefully he can now really kick on and
have a strong season as both a referee and VAR.

I liked seeing this post - it's a rarity. Kav is one who certain
posters jump on very quickly if there is even the slightest of
errors, actual or perceived, yet are always totally silent when
he has one of his many excellent games. He seems unpopular for
some unknown reason and I feel there is quite a lot of bias
against him because of it. A lot like Stuart Attwell used to get
on here. I really hope he does not read this board because it
could easily destroy his confidence. I like him as a referee and
would be happy to see him appointed to one of our games.

Like the previous posters I’m very happy to see Kavanagh back in
action. He’s a good referee and I’m sure he will be back in the
PL soon. Some people love looking for negatives. The fact he’s a
Cat 1 Referee with UEFA shows how good he really is!

Well quite; if Kavanagh really would struggle at Division 2/3
level in moderate European footballing nations, what on earth
are UEFA thinking about putting him in Cat 1 ? Or perhaps those
in UEFA do actually know a thing or two about international
refereeing performance.
