Again a decent set of appointments. Brooks, Salisbury, Hooper
and Jones have received a good run of games and that continues.
Taylor with the Merseyside derby, and Tierney with the big game
to end the weekend.
Pleased that Harrington gets a Premiership game, while Kavanagh
continues his rehab in the Championship.

Must say, I'm a little surprised these have come out on a Bank
Holiday, but another decent set of appointments. Chelsea v West
Ham is probably moving to the Saturday, as Chelsea are involved
in the Champions League on Tuesday I believe - so Gillett will
have to come off that or his 4th official appointment at Wolves.
Good to see Harrington get a second game, having been one of the
few to miss out in the 2 rounds in the last set, plus Brooks and
Salisbury getting games again. An excellent appointment for
Simon Hooper at Villa Park, which is great to see. Some
officials are getting teams for a 2nd time this season in this
set - fair enough with this being round 6, albeit we have
Beswick and Nunn for the second Saturday in a row.
Whatever has changed in the appointment process this season, I
approve - this is the best, and fairest appointing we've had in
the Premier League for a long time!

Attwell for us at Tottenham…. and we still await Michael Oliver
whom bmb has the pleasure of this weekend!
A long trip for Harrington to Brighton and I’m surprised Brooks
is back at Molineux, he only did Wolves v Fulham a couple of
weekends ago! 🙄

Chelsea v West Ham has moved to Saturday, and Harrington's game
is now televised on Super Sunday.

Pleased to see the spread of appointments continues. Excellent
game for Hooper in particular, and delighted to see Harrington
given a second game of the season.
I wonder if Oliver getting a Saturday 3pm game suggests a
European adventure on the following Tuesday.....

With Chelsea vs West Ham moving to Saturday there is going to be
a few changes with all 3 officials from that game and the AVAR
all already having Saturday appointments.
At least 3 SG2 officials will have to come in as 40’s unless a
game moves to Sunday? An interesting thing for the PL to sort
out
Appointments themselves fairly predictable, Tierney and Taylor
where the only names for those matches really.

That is the sort of challenge that any other Appointments
Secretary would relish. I am thinking of those leagues with
multiple divisions, numerous late fixture changes and match
officials withdrawing by the fistful.
By comparison, whoever is dealing with this single fixture
change has it easy.

Assuming Pawson stays on the Chelsea game it will be a busy few
weeks for him
Thursday in Europe
Saturday VAR in Liverpool vs Bournemouth
Sunday- Forest vs Spurs
Tuesday 40 at Palace vs Brentford
Wednesday 40 at Arsenal vs Leeds
Thursday referee at Leicester vs Man United
Saturday referee at Chelsea vs West Ham while being 40 at Spurs
vs Fulham
