       Very good performance in an extremely hostile environment IMHO.
       VAR spot on with advising an OFR for penalty for Maccabi at end
       of the first half.

       Absolutely brilliant performance from team ref. It was not an
       easy game to referee and he handled it perfectly. I'm sure if I
       really really wanted to I could find something to nitpick about
       but this is a game where no-one will be talking about team ref
       other than to say they were brilliant.  Beswick & Nunny both
       made a couple of decent calls. Excellent spot by Kav for the
       handball.  No way it could have been seen in real time on the
       pitch due to speed, angle etc. Tonight was how VAR is meant to
       work - top intervention. Team ref can be very happy with their
       contribution to a fantastic game of football.
