Sad and totally unacceptable but not surprising, given the
mentality of some of football supporters.

As someone who was at the game I would like to report that
Rebecca Welch had an excellent game. It was my first sighting
of her live and I was very impressed. Not that that has any
relevance; this type of abuse is wholly unacceptable under any
circumstances.

This is disgusting and anyone proven to have sent this should be
banned from watching football for a long time!
I was at the match on Saturday and Rebecca is an exceptional
role model, on her arrival a young fan was waiting outside and
wanted a photo. Rebecca didn't just have the photo but spent
time asking the fan about her football experiences and if she
played. The young girl was buzzing after this.

These cretins and low life supporters who hurl this kind of
abuse at female officials should be banned from every ground for
life.
With respect to the previous poster, only a life time ban on
these clowns will go towards stopping this unacceptable
behaviour.
Unfortunately, it won’t stop it given the nature of some of
these despicable “supporters”.

Whilst in no way condoning what happened, kudos to the Lincoln
chairman for fronting up and saying how unacceptable it is.
Would be dead easy for clubs to avoid the publicity and sweep
sweep sweep but he seems to have brought it up himself

He's handed it very well. He seems furious about the
neanderthals who have embarrassed the club.
