Kavanagh with 2 games in championship midweek should be back in
prem action next weekend
Harrington also on championship duty-would have liked to have
seen him in prem action but hopefully this will happen like
kavanagh next weekend
England transferring to champio9nship but got prem game in week
hopefully all 3 of these refs will get a game next weekend
pleased for Thomas to get his first poem game hope it b goers
well for him
good luck to Massey-ellis at u20 world cup as aavr hopefully she
might do this role for future prem appointments
Who might Thomas be refereeing? Limerick FC v Haiku FC in the
Irish-Japanese Trophy perhaps.

Yes and England has Palace again next week against Brentford. I
think that appointment will change (?)

Stuart Attwell wore the greeny blue shirt & that's about as good
as it got! He was fine, no complaints, Liverpool were rampant &
I think my team thought it was a home game because they
certainly didn't turn up at Anfield! Ouch!!

Yes, Oliver is certainly very different to Taylor in that he
does do regular VAR appointments. It's probably not as many as
some due to the fact he referees more matches but he certainly
wasn't anywhere close to 0 VAR appointments last season as
Taylor was.
At least Oliver being VAR on a Fulham game ends any speculation
about whether he can officiate them or not!
Oliver was on VAR 6 times last season, of that helps.

No issues for Mr Attwell at Anfield. Easy game for him really, I
was fearing the y****w kit was coming out but fortunately it was
the light blue.
I noticed when the players walked out that Marc Perry had
replaced Hatzidakis who instead was on Southampton vs Man
United? Any reason for the change?
There where 2 long VAR checks for offside, haven’t seen any
replays as was in the ground anyone comment on those?
Also bumped into Matt Donohugh in M&S at the services on route
buying a meal deal- a bit strange.

One of them, the one for Meps own goal, the Liverpool player was
in an offside position and they were determining if he had
interfered with play/Mepham before/during him scoring the own
goal. He hadn't. Can't remember the other one but I didn't have
any issues at all with team ref, my team failing to turn up on
the other hand... Didn't expect to win the game but I do expect
our players to put in some effort. They should use their wages
this week to refund all of the fans who went & were still
singing away despite the scoreline.

The first goal had a long VAR check for an offside.
Credit to the Bournemouth fans, none of them left and sang their
hearts out all game. Shame the Bournemouth players had the
opposite attitude
