F.A. Cup 1946-47 - Match Officials

1946-47 Notes (1) Format
(exempt) The Amateur Cup finalists were exempt to the 1st Round
and three Division 3 clubs were exempted to the
3rd Round based on their previous season's record
Referees were announced the day after the draw
The semi-finals and final also announced the linesmen
TBC indicates those not yet confirmed
by a programme or a newspaper report
Barrick originally appointed at Q.P.R. (R3)
Stevens originally appointed at Southampton (R3)
swapped with Salmon originally at Bradford P.A.
Programme at Preston (R4) gives C. Johnston, not Rayson, on line
Brown L. replaced Reader for replay at Man. C. (R4r)
Ellis replaced Moore for replay at Burnley (R6r)
Linesmen not in programme at Chesterfield (R3)
Linesmen same for both matches (R6 & R6r)
Pearce originally appointed at Charlton (R6)
but had 'flu so senior line (Plyer) replaced him
not known who replacement line was
