Jon Moss Shop Attack

I was saddened to read this today. No proof it was linked, of
course, but it seems very likely. Rare comments by Mr. Corberan
at the end of the article - accepting a Referee's decision!

Absolutely terrible and at the end of the day the referee is
doing his best. Referees should never be abused or have their
personal lives/ homes/ shops etc. attacked by supporters. He
deserved a good send off to his retirement not this.

Sad to hear.
Mike Dean said in his interview with Mark Chapman that he
wouldn't want to do a 'big' game as his last match, just in case
something went wrong as it would be a bad note to end on. I was
surprised Moss got the play-off final for this reason.
Hopefully nothing like this will happen again and Moss will be
able to move n with his new life and look back with some good
memories of his refereeing career overall.

Sorry bmb. I didn't realise you'd started a thread albeit in
another section of RTR. I agree with what you say - a step way
too far. I hope the culprits are caught and punished suitably.

No need to be sorry, I just tacked it onto the matchday thread.
It was deserving of it's own thread and got it more attention
than my post, which was hidden away!
