That's at least 5 gone from Level 1, so will need at least the
same number promoted to compensate

Still going. Now the oldest referee on the list.
I think next season Andre Marriner will be the longest serving
official. I hope it won't be his last season but I might need to
start preparing bmb jr emotionally for that particular
retirement!

Brett Huxtable too.
Huxtable appears to be relatively young. Is this due to an
injury or moving away does anybody know ?
Brett also has a very young family. He does live in Great
Torrington in Devon so every match is some distance for him to
travel. I suppose with injury and young family something has to
give.

Is C. Boyeson still going? And A. Woolmer?

James Adcock is not a Select Group 2 official he was removed
from the list so the 1st post here is incorrect.

He and Kevin Johnson have both done posts on facebook announcing
their respective retirements.

That was my error - corrected it now.

Joint with Kevin Friend, I think, both joining the list in
2003/04

This is correct.
Marriner’s first game was Lincoln v Oxford, and Friend’s first
game was Scunthorpe v Bristol Rovers — both games in the old
Division Three.

How old is Haines? I thought Woolmer was top of the elder
statesmen in the EFL?
He'll be 57 this year.
He is 53 next February, and is looking to complete another
season — according to reply #105 on this thread:
