How many years has Kettle been around for now? It seems like
decades.

Back in the day Kettle's pre match warm up was renowned for
being one of the longest and hardest, especially if he knew the
assessor was already in their seat.

This is certainly true. I believe Mr Kettle claims very good
fitness has been one of his chief attributes in his officiating
career.

That’s quite incredible longevity. You’d imagine more would
have achieved it if the mandatory retirement age had been lifted
earlier?
