Big names on the midweek games and ridiculously Dan Cook is
appointed again. 120 mins on Saturday followed by potentially
120 mins on Tuesday then appointed on Thursday? Not the best
management to say the least.

Agreed, really poor management from PGMOL

The issue here is does Kevin Friend realise that it’s harsh with
his reaction to give the penalty. Or is he trying to make it a
game show.
I was at the game not a single person in the ground expected for
a penalty to given.
There’s a foul on Barnes from Sanchez. The ball comes off
Sanchez’s shin how is a defending player meant to do anything
about that.
Kevin friend is the same referee that missed a blatant punch on
Vydra earlier on in the season and sent off Jimenez for wolves
against Leeds.

Also needed an OFR to see a clear foul by Antonio on Meslier and
was the referee who gave the Jota penalty vs Palace. Perhaps he
just is not very good

Are we expecting the final games of the season to be released at
4pm today or at midday tomorrow?

You will be first to know when it happens.[emoji6]
In all seriousness, none of us works for the PGMOL.

Usually Tuesday when there is a PL game on the Monday night,
presumably in case the ref or ARs 'crock' it.

Although for the final weekend they have been known to delay the
appointments until there is some clarity the on the importance
of the fixtures following any midweek matches. It could
Wednesday until they are known.

Yes, there have been cases in the past where the appointments
have only come out on Thursday before final day. I wouldn't be
surprised if they wait until after Southampton V Liverpool
tomorrow night to see if title is going to final day or not. In
the main, Thursday night won't really affect which games matter
come final day (I know Everton might be safe but Arsenal V
Everton will have something riding on it anyway.)

Its not like cricket, where you have to appeal before a decision
can be made.
According to the present guidance from ifab that is a penalty
for handball all day long.

Apparently so and that is why the law needs changing, if I was
in that position I personally wouldn't of given it
