Some strange appointments here, especially Tierney on the North
London derby Kavanagh should have kept it.
Not happy with Coote on the Burnley v Villa game, would have
been better to see Atkinson Or Dean on that one.
Good luck to jon moss on probably his last visit to villa park,
having said that he will probably get the Villa v Burnley game.
( memo must drop by his shop in headingly next time i am there
to wish him well on his retirement ).
I would have liked to see Hooper on the Villa v Liverpool game.
I guess expected appointments for Jones, Salisbury, Hooper and
       Scott.
Someone must think its bmb birthday with royalty twice in the
week, and top totty royalty on saturday.
One hundred lines for Andre, i must wear purple not yellow.

I think Atkinson is a Leeds fan so guess he's not going to
referee Burnley at this stage of the season.
I think Hooper refereeing Villa V Liverpool at this stage of the
season would have been a huge surprise.

Nice to see Salisbury with another PL appointment. Also
surprised to see Natalie Aspinall’s name among the appointments
as AVAR - perhaps a promotion imminent??

Much like us not having Michael Oliver when Newcastle were with
       us at the bottom..
Now that Newcastle have all that oil money we should hopefully
see Oliver next season, unless he’s a closet Fulham fan!

What an absolute shambles that is with Tierney picking up not
just a north London derby but probably the biggest in a long
time, when will the pgmol start to see that this man is not good
       enough!!!!!!!

I'm deeply involve in refereeing but like "few", I'm not
emotionally invested in it at all. Because of this, I don't
count myself as a REAL football fan especially as I don't watch
professional matches either at the ground or on tv for many
       years.
To be a SG1 official, you have something like 0.00001% chance so
I'm pretty sure Paul Tierney didn't get there by miracle.
Rustyref (from other thread) has already said everything I
       needed to say.
Don't let PGMOL Appointment Officer ruined your day.

Not sure you can say he isnt good enough, but rather not in the
best of form so someone else should be appointed.
I sympathise with the appointments chief and there are so many
variables at this time of the season
Such, As Readingfan pointed out that Atkinson being a Leeds fan
wouldnt referee Burnley due to being relegation rivals, when i
suggested he would be better suited than Coote to Burnley v
       Villa.

With 3 retiring there is a big possibility but there have been
       no interviews as of yet.
