Absolutely over the moon for Katalin. She was superb in the U17
games that she did at their WC. Just wish the powers that be in
Hungary would recognise her talent & start giving her NB1 games.
There are several men in the NB1 that she is far better than,
imo!

I saw one game Rashid done & thought she was excellent in it.
There is some real talent with the ladies at the moment. There
was a youngish looking AR with Katalin in a CL game I think it
was who I was very impressed by as well. Eastern European but
can't remember her nationality or name.

15 male VARs have been appointed to the tournament, most of
which were part of the World Cup in Russia last year.

Anyone appointed to a game in any completion that’s from
Hungary, you always rave about!

Actually my rave about list is quite short! What's the problem
with raving about them anyway? Too much negativity around as it
is. We have a tendency in Hungary to take as much pride in our
referees performing well on the big stages as we do our National
team which has to be a good thing surely? Do you perhaps prefer
just negativity, no praising, no delight in seeing them do well?
Perhaps you missed my positivity about Rashid & and an Eastern
European AR, whose name I can't remember, as well...

Sadly Carol-Ann Chenard has had to pull out due to discovering
she has breast cancer and Cui Yongmei on the advice of doctor's
with a heart issue. Neither are being replaced. Chenard's ARs
are going to work with others. They already have a match,
sensibly paired up with one of the Aussie officials.
