Sorry if this has been said already, but where is VAR being done
from during the Euro's?
[/quote]
I would imagine Stockley Park for grounds with VAR capacity. If
not, a van in the car park lol.

UEFA clearly has no issues with ARs seeing the same teams, as
Sian has France for the 2nd time. Interesting to see if this
becomes a permanent 3 as the tournament progresses.
Struck me that UEFA were late announcing these today, maybe
discussions and reallocations now the groups have developed.

Penalty for England looked very soft on the highlights on BBC

That doesn’t look like Sian in the France game this evening?
Edit- she was replaced by Polyxeni Irodotou of Cyprus.
Also, another VAR intervention. When will officials stand by
their own decision even when big brother steps in.

Indeed, not a fan at all of VAR coming in there. A shame, as
Foster had a good game until then.

What an absolutely ridiculous penalty decision in the France
Belgium game. Her hand was by her side and it was hit from less
than a yard away! To top it off she was then sent off for a
second yellow. Disgraceful!

Which highlights the problem of Big Brother watching. I agree, a
terrible decision and the second yellow was the icing on a very
awful cake.
As soon as the official on the field is summonsed to the tv
screen they feel compelled to go with the VAR who seems to be
endorsing a foul/penalty/card or whatever….
I can’t remember the last time that the on field official told
the VAR to Foxtrot Oscar out of it and stick with their original
decision.
