Just got home from the game as I went with two of my old mates
from college.
Very unsavoury but understandable scenes at the end, and Bobby
Madley (who had an excellent game) made absolutely the right
decision to take the players off and abandon the game.
I sympathise in every sense with my mates and what has happened
to their club and the sorry state it is in. The club is fighting
for its own survival after 116 years in the EFL. Following Bury,
Macclesfield, Derby, and many others who have had despicable
owners who have no care for the club or the fans. Nothing will
change until Mr Abdallah is removed.
When are the administrators and regulators going to get a grip
of these rogue owners who have no idea how to run a football
club??!

From the BBC:
Former Burnley, Peterborough and Salford City player George Boyd
has told BBC Radio Manchester that the pitch invasion at
Boundary Park has got "embarrassing".
"They have made their point. They could have stayed in the
centre circle for five minutes, but this has got embarrassing.
"There are kids, teenagers fighting amongst themselves, fighting
outside and sliding on the grass. It's poor."

The fit & proper persons test is not fit for purpose. I
remember a situation at AFCB, after communication with the fraud
squad as part of our due diligence, our board rejected attempts
from a Russian consortium to buy the club, a few months later
they bought Pompey, who have still not fully recovered from that
experience. We provided the stuff we had to both Pompey & the
FA & were accused of being bitter that it wasn't us they
bought!! They should never have passed the test - they were
under an active investigation for money laundering at the time.
I'd like to see an independent regulation body set up for it
that includes representatives from the police. Too many
smaller/less fashionable clubs get shafted and far too
frequently.

They have a right to protest, but they don't have a right to go
onto the pitch whilst the game is in progress as that is a
criminal activity. Causing a game to be abandoned is going to
be viewed very dimly, and it also has ramifications at the other
end of the table.

Did they continue after the fans had left?
Got my answer from the BBC:
HTML https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/61125002
"The remaining 14 minutes played resulted in a final scoreline
of Oldham Athletic 1 Salford City 2, and as a result Oldham
Athletic have been relegated from League Two.
"Despite the earlier announcement of the abandonment of the
fixture, after discussions with both clubs, match officials, and
stadium security it was agreed the match could be concluded
today.
"The decision was taken in order to maintain the integrity of
the competition given the importance of the fixture at both ends
of the League Two table."

They did which solves many of the questions in relation to the
league.

Agreed but desperate times call for desperate measures!
