Does the league 1 playoff final usually go to top of the merit
list with 4th official 2nd highest?

Possibly…
It’ll probably go to Ward or Simpson given the perverse nature
of the merit list at times.

I would suggest top ranked will do the L1 final, those next in
line do any of the semi finals before the 4th on final appointed

I would also say that the appointments will be dependant on
teams supported (not postcode) - I believe a couple of those
mentioned as been highly thought of follow Sunderland, who may
be in the mix at the end of the season.

Whereas I'm hoping he was sent a wear purple memo!
Hopefully come final whistle the only comments relating to him
will be his choice of kit!
Enjoy the game TTFL.
And he's opted for black!
