       Carl Brook - Plymouth v Sunderland

       I was surprised to see Carl Brook’s name next to this game when
       the appointments came out, expecting a more experienced EFL ref
       to handle a clash of play off significance. However, I thought
       he was excellent! Allowed the game to breathe, cautioned when
       necessary and made a positive contribution to a game where both
       teams crumpled under the pressure.

       I've observed Carl twice and am not surprised. I find his
       calming influence, accurate application of law and unflustered
       approach very refreshing and as such consider him to be a safe
       pair of hands on any game.
