       The Ipswich based journalists at the match have reported that
       Anthony Backhouse has just replaced Geoff Eltringham during the
       first half at Stoke.

       Coincidentally, Eltringham was the replacement official last
       time a referee went off injured in a Town match, Rob Jones
       exactly a year ago today at Middlesbrough.
