       Ronaldo
By: Hendo Date: April 10, 2022, 2:43 am

I see this obnoxious individual has apologised for seemingly
breaking a child’s phone in his anger after the match yesterday
       😡.
My hatred of this prima Donna has just increased even more. I
will leave it there as I may write something which I shouldn’t
       🤬
I am sure the Ronaldo supporters will defend him - “heat of the
moment”, “frustrating afternoon”, “emotions running high” etc -
but I don’t buy into that.
All strutting and cheesy smiles when things went well v Spurs
the other week but once again here we have the dark side to his
       nature.

If that happened at half time, would the referee have been able
to sent him off? I'm assuming as it's after the final whistle
the referee can't punish him for it...

Should be more than just a football incident should be a trip to
the magistrates, I’m sure if anyone here was recorded assaulting
a disabled kid because of a bad day at work we’d be going there

I see there is a police investigation - I hope the young
autistic lad gets the justice that he deserves. 1st game for the
poor kid as well. I don't care how big a star you are, that sort
       of behaviour is unacceptable.

And having seen the incident Utd have decided he has no case to
answer so will not be taking any action against him. It beggars
belief but we were expecting anything different from this club?

Whilst I have no allegiance to United nor Ronaldo let’s all
take a step back and have a look at the facts, and not the
newspaper gossip! And let’s not listen to bitter opposition
       fans.
If one was a professional footballer who has had a limelight
firmly placed on them since they were still a kid (bear enough
20 years) and after a very frustrating poor performance where
you just want to get away, and yet you have someone stick a
camera in your face, how would you feel. Funny how the mother
mentioned the son was autistic AFTER the papers picked up the
       incident.
As someone famous once told me - s**t happens. This is the case
in this, something bad happened in the heat of the moment. We’re
all human. Of course, no one condones what Ronaldo has done and
he himself has admitted he got it wrong. But he has apologised,
and (according to the tabloid gossip) offered to buy a new phone
and offered tickets for a United game as his guest.
It seems to me that whenever something bad happens now people
are hell bent on getting as much fame and money out of it as
possible, rightly or wrongly. It’s a nothing story and there are
far more important things going on that this. Accept the apology
and the new phone and move on!

What are the parents of autistic children meant to do - wear a
T-shirt saying my child is autistic or perhaps have it tattooed
on the child's forehead once they get formally diagnosed? Maybe
she could have taken out an advert in the program - "I'm here
tonight with an autistic child - here's a photo of us so you
know what he looks like". Why on earth would she be mentioning
it to the press or anyone else BEFORE Ronaldo's disgraceful
conduct? I ask simply as the mother of a child who was diagnosed
as autistic at the age of 16 months old... [emoji34]

I have no sympathy for Ronaldo. It's all good when he is getting
all the attention doing his stupid suiiiiiiiiiiii thing when he
scores. He puts him self in a position with the media and as
part of who he is, that he is bound to get some criticism at
times and people hurling abuse. He needs to just ignore it and
not rise to it. I think he should be punished with a ban for it.
